Hi there.<\/p>\n

Not a lot of news in the media about Julian Assange lately???<\/p>\n

With the sad loss of Vivienne Westwood a week ago and with such support for Julian and other causes we have covered in this blog, like her Anti Fracking and other environmental and freedom of speech awareness, it’s a shame that Julian can’t be there to pay respects at the funeral which I believe she actually requested Julian was there.<\/p>\n

\"\"Her family said they were \u201cdeeply disappointed that we were unable to fulfill Vivienne\u2019s wishes but are unsurprised by the decision, which is unjust and in keeping with the inhumane treatment he has received from the UK authorities up to this point\u201d<\/p>\n

They added: \u201cJulian has not been convicted of any crime, yet he is treated as if he is a terrorist, the only thing he is guilty of is publishing the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vivienne led a colourful band of protesters chanting \u201cFree Julian Assange\u201d outside the Old Bailey in central London.<\/p>\n

Suspended inside the cage, she said: \u201cDon\u2019t extradite Assange \u2013 it\u2019s a stitch-up.\u201d<\/p>\n
